Females in Production

  • Nelson Conquest 3C (LJN 3C)

The most senior cow in the purebred herd right now. Conquest has the best udder attachment in the whole herd and is built like a tank. Her calves follow suit.

  • Anchor D Dorian 488D (ZDS 488D)

Polled. Power. Maternal. Dorian is an excellent cow, who was purchased as a bred heifer from the Anchor D Pasture Treasures sale in 2018. She truly is worth her weight in gold. Every calf she has produced has either been a heifer which we retained in the herd or a son who became a herd bull.

  • Nelson Dreamkeeper 4D (LJN 4D)

A mature cow that consistently makes replacement females and sale bulls each and every year. 4D is a moderate framed cow that milks well and weans her calves off heavy.

  • Nelson Fall In Love (LJN 2F)

2F is a cow that definitely gets over looked. However she is a cow built for longevity. Her maternal strengths outshine her frozen ears, her calves tend to top the scale, and her daughters are amazing.

  • Nelson Felicity (LJN 8F)

Power cow here. This cow has made some impressive sale bulls and has one daughter in the herd. I love this cow.

  • Nelson Gypsy (LJN 3G)

Gypsy is a very strong cow at Nelson Ranch. Daughter to Dorian, and a producer like her mother.

  • Nelson Gorgeous (LJN 8G)

Here is a polled beauty. She’s a moderate framed cow with lots of body to her. Not only is she deep in the rib and hind quarter, but she also has a phenomenal, compact udder.

  • Nelson Glamorous 9G (LJN 9G)

Feminine polled cow with lots of milk and pigment.

  • Nelson June 1J (LJN 1J)

A young cow that is proving herself at a young age. Keep an eye out for future sons she may have. She has a perfect udder and the performance to back it up.

  • Nelson Jell-O Shot 12J (LJN 12J)

    Dark red beauty.

  • Nelson Khaleesi 15K (LJN 15K)

Another daughter of Dorian and her Sire is BEE Hooey. She is a standout in her age group.

  • Nelson Kismet 17K (LJN 17K)

A cow with length of spine and longevity. Very excited for her future!
